The secrets of celeste

it's no secret that celeste is a great game, but what is a secret, is the rooms and easter eggs that you may not know about. I have compiled some of the secrets of celeste, into this one website, for you all to enjoy. (note. this may not be all the secrets, just the ones i know about. also, this site has spoilers for celeste up to chapter 9)

Number 1: chapter 9 double demo dash

in chapter 9, in the section titled "Determination" there is a room with 2 paths. normally, you do a wavedash to conserve your dash and then dash teo the left. but if you save your dash and keep going downwards, it will be much tighter. But if you go down the tighter path, you will see 2 crystals. In celeste, there is a mechanic called demo dashing, or crouch dashing, where you crouch and immediately dash in the direction you want to go, (or map a button to crouch dashing in the settings.) But when you do this, your hitbox is just small enough to fit through the gap between 2 crystals or spinners. So if you demo dish through the 2 crystals, you will find a secret room where you have to do 2 demo dashes in a row.

chapter 9 speaker room

it's not entirely known what the purpose of this room is, but there are some hidden secrets. the first one being this:

for context, this is the spectrogram for the audio that plays when you're in that room. And if you noticed, at the bottom there is cursive text saying "not so empty"

this text is most likely reffering to the name of the fake crystal heart found in chapter 9 titled "empty space" as well as the song in the chapter 9 soundtrack titled "the empty space above." Whatever this text is for, it's still cool to see. To actually get to the room, in the last room of the section titled "event horizon," you would normally follow the bird by using the golden feathers, but if you go to the left and diverge from the path, you can get to the speaker room. (pictures and information on this room are from this video, watch it for all the secrets in chapter 9)

chapter 6 dev room

in the section of chapter 6 titled "reflection" there is a hidden dev room you can get to by climbing the elavator shaft right when you see granny. you get to the room you have to do a dashbounce and a wavedash, so you're most likely only going to get there if you have beat chapter 9. the room contains characters from some other games by the same people, for some more info, click here

thats the end for now, this may be updated in the future, but dont get your hopes up too high. If you want more secrets and easter eggs watch this
